My guest is Nicole Curato. Nicole is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance at the University of Canberra in Australia. Her academic work focuses on deliberative democracy as well as on populism in the Philippines. She is also a much sought-after commentator on politics in the Philippines.
